CASH FOR THE CATS

Cat SleepingHere’s an easy way to support Whisker City without leaving your computer! We have registered with Goodsearch, a search engine that donates one half of their advertising revenue to charities. When you use Goodsearch, we receive a penny each time you search the internet!

To use Goodsearch, log on to www.goodsearch.com On the second line where it says “enter your charity here”, type in “Blue Sky Charities”. Click on “Verify”, then type in your search item in the first line before clicking “search”. It’s that easy!

(Blue Sky Charities is our registered name with the IRS and Whisker City is under the Blue Sky Charities umbrella.)

Raise money easier by making Goodsearch the home page for your computer! You can also shop for items with “Goodshop”, located on the Goodsearch home page, and Whisker City will receive a percentage of your purchase.

GOING HOME

Going HomeWe are so happy about the match we made for Millie, an abandoned cat. Volunteer Karen Beck fed and cared for Millie after she was discovered all alone. Millie would rarely let anyone near her, even Karen, until a young lady named Emma came along. It was a match made in heaven as you can tell by the photo! Thanks to Emma and her mother Joy for giving Millie a home!

CAT CORNER

Saint
Minnie is looking for a home!

This is Minnie, who arrived at Whisker City a month ago. She was brought to us by a couple who found her “dirty and starving to death” outside their house. It’s obvious Minnie was cruelly abandoned since she is declawed, and had no way to defend herself in unfamiliar territory. The couple decided to call her Minnie and she responds to the name. She is about a year and a half old, a tortoise shell and very, very loving. Minnie shows her affections best with her “head butting” style! She might do best as an only cat, so if you are interested in adopting Minnie, call us at 206-542-0947.
